Terms of Participation
Welcome to Section179.Org. We invite you to participate in our initiative “Petitioning Congress to Keep Section 179”. The permanency of enhanced deduction limits under Section 179 is not certain. To bring attention to this matter, our goal is to meet a specific number of petition signatures. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word.
By accessing Section179.Org and participating in this petition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to be bound by these Terms of Participation, the Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
By participating in this petition on Section179.Org, you signify that you have read, comprehended, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Participation and to comply with all relevant laws and regulations. You understand and accept that Section179.Org reserves the right to edit, modify, or replace petition content, or adjust time frames or signature targets at our discretion. If you disagree with the content of this petition or have objections to any aspect of these Terms of Participation, your sole recourse is to discontinue accessing Section179.Org and cease using any services provided on this website. Participation in or signing of this petition is entirely voluntary.
Please note that Section179.Org is not intended to replace official communication channels for Section 179 or other tax reforms. You retain full rights to interact with the federal government and its agencies through mail, email, phone calls, official websites, and other communication channels.

If we discover that an IP address is using automated technologies to generate multiple petition signatures, we may block that IP address from accessing Section179.Org.
By participating, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Section 179.Org, its owners, affiliates, agents, directors, employees, producers, suppliers, or licensors from and against any and all losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from any claim brought by any third party relating to your use of the site or violation of these Terms of Participation, our Privacy Policy, or applicable laws, rules or regulations.
Your participation in this petition does not guarantee any response or acceptance from the federal government once the petition meets the signature threshold. The legislative process is under the exclusive jurisdiction of Congress, which can choose to ignore a petition, regardless of the number of signatures it has garnered. Your participation within the Section179.Org platform does not confer any enforceable rights or benefits against Section179.Org, its owners, affiliates, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, agents, or any third party.
